  • The group participated in the first VITAL training school on Multiscale and Multi-Dimensional Data-driven Cardiovascular Digital Twin Development, held in Delft in March 2025. Jordi Alastruey contributed to the lectures on 0-D/1-D circulation modelling.

  • Jordi Alastruey was invited to speak at the inaugural Bioelectricity Cluster conference, which will be held in Oxford in April 2025. He will present on Machine Learning-Based Vascular Ageing Assessment as part of the AI and Digital Twins Computational Methods in Medicine theme.

  • Congratulatins to Aristide Mathieu on successfully defending his PhD research during his viva on 10th January 2025. His thesis is titled Using the Photoplethysmogram Signal to Assess Cardiovascular Health.
