I am a Master's student in "Mathematics and Statistic for life and social sciences: Modelling and simulations for Biomedical applications and biosystems" at the University of Trento, Italy. During my studies, I had to deal with several topics such as analysis of data, vaccination strategy models, biosystem and biomedical simulations and modelling. Some projects carried out during my Master's degree are the importance to take into account the effect of pro-tumor role in tumor models; the construction and simulations of coronary arteries model to compute iFR and FFR indexes; the construction and simulation of malaria's model and analysis of trajectory stability; and the analysis and clustering of a tumor-sarcoma genes database.

In April 2020 I moved to London for an internship in the Department of Biomedical Engineering of King's College London at St. Thomas Hospital, with Dr Jordi Alastruey as supervisor.

The aim of the project is to extend a currently available database of simulated pulse waves to consider heart-vascular coupling and cardiac pathologies. A secondary outcome will be the exploration of the relevance of heart-vascular coupling in the determination of arterial pulse pressure.
